August 30, 2003 - A Ray of Hope

As I described in my Blog today...

"I was reminded that no matter how bad the storm, no matter how dark the
times seem... The storm will not go on forever, and the clouds will lift one day.
And when those clouds do open and that ray of sunshine does shine... it will seem all the
		more beautiful...."

As I was headed up the road to the Ranch this evening, a ray of sunlight from the
setting sun, shot from the ridge top above me. Somewhere over the ridge on the horizon, the
whirling clouds of hurricane Katrina had broken. The bright shaft of light was incredible to see after two days of clouds.
		I stopped the truck...

... and looked back down the mountain as the shaft of light pierced the fresh, cleared, air to
			illuminate a cove below...

... acting as a reminder, that darkness will lift and storms will end.
And light will be all the more appreciated when it's over... |
